Why is my aircon leaking water?

Common reasons for indoor dripping
A blocked drain line, dirty drainage tray, frozen coil or drainage alignment problem can allow water to escape from the fan coil. The source should be checked instead of repeatedly wiping the casing.
What to do immediately
Switch the affected unit off if water is near electrical points, furniture or flooring. Protect the area and avoid opening the unit beyond removing a washable filter if the manufacturer permits it.
How the cause is confirmed
A service visit can inspect the tray, drainage flow, coil condition and pipework. Recurring leaks deserve a broader check because flushing alone may not resolve an installation or component fault.
What to share when enquiring
Provide the aircon brand, approximate age, number of affected units, recent servicing history and clear photos or a short video where helpful. Note whether the issue affects one unit or the whole system.
